At A Level and in my spare time, I have painted a range of domestic animals, particularly cats and dogs. Throughout my work I have focused on capturing the individuality of the pet in question, making them unique from the rest. To do so, I have been experimenting with the formal element of texture to create a realistic finish by applying acrylic paint in a number of ways such as mixing the paint with sand. I have also added colourful marks/backgrounds into my pieces to add character. I am also fascinated by portraiture, especially abstract realism and aim to include some of this in my work.
I am extremely fascinated by photography and the ability to capture art firsthand in the form of a photograph. In order to create my art works, I take my own photos for reference images. For part of my art project, I had to experiment with different light sources to take photos in a chiaroscuro style. I have also shown my photography/filmography skills throughout my media coursework in which I created and designed a music video and a promotional double page spread.
My A Level Fine Art sketchbook documents the processes I have gone through in order to create my large scale pieces. As well as experimentation, I have researched into a number of artists that have influenced my work.
In my spare time I have created a number of digital artworks via AdobeSketch using an Apple Pencil. These illustrations have been used on mainstream platforms such as YouTube, Twitch and Spotify by well known creators such as Max Fosh, Joe Sugg, Manny and Late Knight.
Digitally Illustrated a large scale print design for a YouTube video on the Max Fosh YouTube channel. The illustration was printed as a large banner and featured in the video helping it gain over 750,000 views.
Watch HereDigital Drawings designed for the use as twitch Emoji's. I have had my work featured on well known influencer Twitch channels including Joe Sugg and Manny. Fans use and interact with these digital emotes regularly.
I digitally drew an album cover design for a Spotify verified Artist called "Late Knight". Software used to create this included: Adobe Sketch.
